Use your own domain
Put your store on shop.yourname.com with two DNS records. HTTPS is set up for you.
Custom domains are on the Growth and Pro plans. If the Domains page says Coming soon, they aren't switched on yet — your store keeps working at your normal link.
Steps
- Open Custom domains & branding, enter a domain you own (for example
shop.yourname.com) and press Add domain. - At your domain provider (GoDaddy, Hostinger, Namecheap, Cloudflare…) add the two records shown on the page: a TXT record at
_yourbio.<your domain>with the verification code we show you, and a CNAME record for your domain pointing to the host name shown on the page. - Back in YourBio, press Verify. DNS changes can take from a few minutes to a few hours to spread.
Once verified, your storefront is served at the root of the domain and product pages at /p/<product>. A free HTTPS certificate is set up automatically and renewed before it expires.
Troubleshooting
- Still pending: check both records for typos, and use a subdomain like
shop.— many providers don't allow a CNAME on the bare domain. - HTTPS failed: usually the CNAME doesn't point to us yet. Fix it and press Verify again, or contact support.
- Using Cloudflare: set the CNAME to "DNS only" (grey cloud) until HTTPS shows as on.
